The Neonatology departments of Christian Medical College Vellore, Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research (SRIHER) Chennai, and JIPMER Puducherry are jointly conducting a two-day conference on neonatal research, ‘NeoCORE 2023’ (Neonatal Conference On Research and Expert Talks) on March 10 & 11 2023 at CMC Vellore. The target audience are neonatology residents doing DM, DNB or Fellowship courses and practicing neonatologists. Pre-conference workshops will be held on March 9 2023.

Sessions include expert lectures focusing on research, evidence and recent advances on neonatal topics (45-minute sessions). This will alternate with podium presentations (12 minutes each) on both days, which would serve as a platform for neonatology / paediatric residents who have done research in a neonatal-perinatal topic to present their research work to eminent faculty for critical appraisal. Awards will be given for the best 5 papers. There will also be a poster session this year. The Tamilnadu Dr. MGR Medical University has approved NeoCORE 2023 for 20 Credit points (Category 3).

All DM & DNB Residents and Neonatology Fellows are encouraged to attend and present their research papers in the conference.
